The book of Revelation is arguably the most studied and talked about book in the Bible. Consequently, it has ignited a never-ending debate creating no shortage of interpretive ideas. For many of us, the book of Revelation is charged with notions of rapture, destruction, and unintelligible codes that have resulted in dismissing or ignoring the book or a crippling fear of the wrath of God.

But what if Revelation is connected to John’s narrative and the combination of the two texts unveils Jesus in this beautiful, sweeping picture of the Incarnate God revealing his Father’s love and how we all fit into this incredible story?

In this 24-week study, we dive into each chapter building on our previous observations of John’s Gospel, to discover the layers of ways in which John unveils and reveals Jesus to us through vivid imagery and metaphor and the Old Testament Scriptures, giving particular attention to its’ connection to the book of John.
